Abstract: Essay about the ways in which the relationships between art and politics have been thought, traditionally through the concept of representation, and now through the concept of aestheticization. It is proposed that art and politics both participate in modes of knowledge that are not reduced to conceptual frames, but find their meaning in the interpretation of both discourses and aesthetic forms, which is exemplified by three cases of art-politics actions developed during the Chilean social outbreak of October, 2019.
Resumen: El ensayo aborda las maneras en que se han pensado las relaciones entre arte y política, por medio del concepto de representación, tradicionalmente, y de estetización, contemporáneamente. Se propone que el arte y la política participan de manera análoga de modos de conocimiento que no se reducen a lo meramente conceptual, sino que encuentran su sentido en la interpretación tanto de discursos como de formas estéticas, lo que es ejemplificado con tres casos de acción artístico-política desarrolladas durante el estallido social en Chile de octubre de 2019.
